How it started:
Two decades ago, I became a volunteer website and social media manager for a nonprofit in America's National Wildlife Refuge System, helping to promote a system of federal lands where wildlife comes first. I’m still a volunteer, and during this time I’ve developed my wildlife photography skills on numerous national wildlife refuges and other public lands, and enjoyed encounters with a variety of wild creatures, both large and small. I hope you enjoy my photographs, which offer a glimpse into the daily lives of species that call the United States home. Each creature has a story to tell.
If you’re interested in my gear, I’ve been both a Nikon and Canon user, but currently my main gear is the Canon R5 and 100-500mm lens for wildlife and the Canon R7 and 100mm macro lens for macro.
